Junior Indigenous Youth Parliament

 JUNIOR INDIGENOUS YOUTH PARLIAMENT 

Is on again today, in 2022 on Thursday Island. This is an annual event for Indigenous students in Year 6 and 7.
A seat now called Hudson! Named after me as an Indigenous Female leader and Artist.
Shadrach Guglio previously represented me in Townsville – And was the member for ‘Hudson’ and Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships!

Youth parliamentarians from throughout North QLD will get to:
 debate a motion on a youth issue,
 speak about an inspirational Indigenous person; or,
 speak in an adjournment debate about any QLD issue.
